Designed for Perfection
Most jewellery on a shelf is a catalogue design cast in bulk. Laura Jewellery began the other way round — a small bench, a handful of setters, and the patience to make each piece properly before making the next.
That means certified stones rather than “diamond-look”, hallmarked 18K gold rather than plate, and settings done by hand under a loupe. It is slower. It is also why a piece from us looks the same on its tenth anniversary as it did in the box.

How a Piece Is Made
Three stages, each done by a different pair of hands, each checked before the next begins.

Design
Every piece begins as a hand sketch, then a wax or CAD model refined until the proportions sit right on the hand or at the throat — not just on paper.

Casting & setting
Cast in hallmarked 18K gold or platinum, then each stone is set by hand under magnification so the prongs hold it securely without hiding its light.
- 03
Finishing
Polished in stages to a mirror finish, checked against the certificate, and boxed with its papers. Nothing leaves the bench until it passes a second pair of eyes.
Caring for Your Jewellery
Wear last, remove first
Put jewellery on after perfume and lotion; take it off before showering, swimming or sleeping.
Store separately
Keep each piece in its pouch so stones cannot scratch metal — diamonds will mark gold.
Clean gently
Warm water, a drop of mild soap and a soft brush. Bring it in once a year for a professional check of the settings.
